Training dogs is a personal passion of mine that has been a part of my life ever since I got my first dog, Gypsy when I was in my early teens. Initially, I turned to the internet to learn as much as possible, and I quickly fell in love with the dog training process. From there, I started offering free dog walking services to further my skills. 

In 2020, I moved to Vancouver Island to start Balanced Behavior Canine, a venture that has allowed me to work with some of the world's best trainers. As an animal lover, it's a great honour to work in such a rewarding field and make a difference in the lives of so many people and their pets. 

At Balanced Behavior Canine, we offer one-on-one problem-solving sessions and behaviour modification. We also provide public education and resources on different training techniques and equipment, so pet owners can continue learning after our sessions. We have trained many breeds and mixes, from small lapdogs to giant breeds.

Training animals is so much more than just teaching them tricks; it's about creating a bond and a language between you and your pet. Healthy communication is the foundation of any successful relationship. I'm passionate about helping pet owners, and their beloved companions reach an understanding that will bring them joy and a mutually beneficial relationship.
